‘In To The Winter’

Over the course of last year I spent some time working on new material. I ended up recording a lot of it myself, in the living room, with a very basic set up. I loved the rawness of the sound and the honesty it felt that it gave space to. I settled on 6 tracks that I felt a deep connection to for a number of reasons. It’s the first record I’ve written that deals with some very heavy subject matter. I think this is as a result of a number of colliding factors impacting my own life as well as many lives of people that I love and care deeply for. The record felt like a raw expression of this overflow of emotion. I enlisted the help of a very talented friend Ben Whelan, who mixed and master the tracks.. I hope that you will all be able to listen to it soon, but for now here are the lyrics.
