Tides EP

I wrote Tides in a time just after I’d finished uni and was working a job I really didn’t enjoy. I went on a travel trip to The Gambia (didn’t know it was called that) with my cousins and realised that something needed to change. I returned home, to Liverpool, and wrote most of the songs in my bathroom as I loved the way my acoustic guitar sounded in there. This EP deals with our sense of belonging and purpose and symbolises a shift in my perspective on life. I recorded it with Steve Sale, an incredible producer who has worked with some amazing artists. It was an amazing experience and to this day I’m proud of the way the record sounds.
